Frequently Asked Questions

This is our Launch Referral Rewards — a special offer for the launch of Emazweni Escapes just for guests on our Lisbon Escape (May 2026). When your trip begins, we’ll give you your own referral code to share with up to two friends. If your friends book and travel on a future escape with us, you’ll earn up to R 3,000 travel credits to use on your next trip. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us grow the Emazweni Escapes family.

This offer is only for guests on our Lisbon Escape (May 2026). To qualify, you need to:

  1. Book your spot,
  2. Pay your deposit and balance, and
  3. Actually travel on the Lisbon trip.

At the start of the trip, we’ll give you your referral code. Your friends will then have 12 months (until May 2027) to use it when booking their own escape. If they do, you’ll earn travel credits for your next trip with us.

  •

It’s simple! When you invite a friend to join one of our escapes:

  1. Your friend must be a new guest and give us your referral code when they first contact us.
  2. They book their trip, pay the deposit, and later pay the final balance.
  3. They travel on the trip they booked.
  4. Once their trip departs, your referral credit is activated and ready to use on your next booking with us.
  •

We activate your credit after your friend’s trip departs (we make sure they’ve travelled and completed their booking). This keeps things fair and simple.

When you book your next escape with us, we’ll apply your credit to the final balance (not the deposit). You just need to book and travel within the validity period.

12 months from the date it’s activated. That means you have a full year after your friend’s trip departs to use it.

Yes! You can earn up to R 3,000 in credits (R 1,500 for a maximum of 2 refferals).

No — credits aren’t cash, can’t be exchanged for money, and aren’t transferable to someone else.

No — this reward is all for you! Your friend pays the normal trip price. The benefit is that you get credit toward your next escape.

  • If your friend cancels before travelling, the credit won’t be issued.
  • If you cancel your next trip, you keep your credit (as long as it’s within the 12-month window).

The easiest way is to message us on WhatsApp (preferred). We’ll send you the itinerary, package options, and payment details. Your booking is confirmed once we receive your non-refundable deposit.

All payments are made directly into Emazweni Escapes’ designated bank account. The account details will be provided on your invoice when you book.

You pay a non-refundable deposit (20% of the total trip cost) to secure your spot, then monthly instalments until the last day of the month two months before your trip. For example, if your trip is in May, your final payment is due by 31 March. We’ll give you a full payment schedule when you book.

You’ll need to pay either the full amount upfront or the deposit plus any instalments already due at that point, then continue with the remaining monthly payments as scheduled.

Payments are accepted in South African Rands (ZAR). If you prefer to pay in Euros (EUR), you must request this when booking. The EUR amount will be quoted at the time and may differ slightly from a direct ZAR conversion. No other currencies are accepted.
